Zakat Al-Fitr for Multan, Pakistan

Alhamduliah the time is fast approaching for us to pay Zakat Al-Fitr. Last year at Croydon ICT our collection allowed us to provide supplies to one of the poorest areas in Multan, Pakistan. Over 500 people benefited from our contribution.

Multan is Pakistan’s fifth largest city by population and one of the hottest cities in the World. 7 months of the year the temperature is over 35 Degrees Celsius with average highs of up to 42 Degrees Celsius.

Our supplies were delivered in good time last year and handed out personally by CICT volunteers in Pakistan. Alhamduliah we have the opportunity to contribute again this year and Insha Allah we will bring great joy and happiness to our brothers and sisters in Islam.

This years Zakat Al-Fitr is £4. The last day to delivery Zakat Al-Fitr at the Masjid is Wednesday 15th August to allow for a scheduled on time delivery to the people of Multan.

Collections will start tonight, Insha Allah.

WalaikumAsalaam WaRahmatullahi Wa Barakatu brother Umar,

JazakAllahukhairun for getting in touch, however we are unable to accept Zakat Al Fitr contributions through our Paypal donation service – this system is reserved for donations to our “Buy our Masjid” project only.

If you would like to pay your Zakat Al Fitr, please attend the Masjid and leave your contributions with the Masjid administration, and please do so prior to Wednesday 15 August, as this is our cut-off date in order to ensure our collection is sent to Multan, Pakistan in time.

The Masjid is currently open 24 hours, throughout the last 10 nights of Ramadan.

JazakAllahukhairun for your understanding and cooperation.
