This chapter covers Ayahs from the Qur’an and ahadith that encompass the following:
- Situation of people after the Prophets
- Following desires and the consequences of it
- People who want fame & fortune in the dunya are not content – constantly dreaming of more
- Everyone will be asked about every blessing they receive – food, clothing, cars etc
- Seeking more than the essentials distracts one from ibaadah
- People who want the Akhira make the dunya a source of gaining reward in the akhira
- Importance of sharing with the community increases barakah
- Save for the Akhira by giving sadaqah
- Prophet salallahu alayhi wa salam chose not to live a luxurious life
- Should be grateful to Allah when guests turn up as this is an opportunity for rewards
