Little Hands – Babies, Toddlers and Mothers Group – starting soon

Little Hands – Babies, Toddlers and Mothers Group – starting soon at Croydon ICT
Croydon ICT is pleased to announce we will soon be hosting “Little Hands – Babies, Toddlers and Mothers Group” InshaAllah.

We are working in association with sisters within our community to provide this service, as we continue to listen to and meet the demands of our community, Alhamdulillah.

Little Hands will run sessions initially twice a week and will eventually deliver more upon demand. This will be a pay to attend group, though it will be kept as economical as possible, and all proceeds will go towards the daily running of the Masjid, whilst the group is being administered externally. The play group will be managed by a qualified nursery and childcare manager, as well as a qualified first aider, all of whom are of course CRB checked.

The sessions will be structured with a professional routine and timings will be arranged so the children can benefit from story time, counting sessions, free play, exercise, Surah practice, Arabic & English alphabet learning, clean up time, painting and arts and craft time, as well as snack time for children and tea and biscuits for mothers.

Mothers will need to accompany their children throughout the duration of the session. Every mother will also receive free advice and tips on their child’s development.

If anyone has any of the following items spare or unwanted (but in good condition), the sisters behind Little Hands would like to request you to donate them to the Masjid so that they can be used in the group.

ITEMS REQUIRED: Toys / Paper / Paint / Felt-tips / Crayons / Easels / Indoor slides / Indoor climbing frames / Soft mats / Child friendly room dividers / Plastic cutlery, plates, cups / Play-dough / Counting beads / Books / Dressing up clothes / Dolls houses / Aprons / Sand or water pit / White board or black board / Baby walkers, bouncers and car-seats / Islamic or Educational vhs/dvds/cds/cassettes

Please drop off any items that you can donate at the Admin Office or bookshop. Any large items can be picked up from your home.
