Croydon ICT Learn Centre runs free courses in Tafsīr (interpretation or commentary of The Holy Qur’an), Hadith (statements or actions of the Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings be upon him), Tawhīd (doctrine of the Oneness of God), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Seerah (Life of the Messenger of God), Aqeedah al-Wasitiyah (Principles of Islamic faith) and Adh’ab (Islamic etiquette). All courses are 12 weeks in length and classes are held once a week.

The main activity of the Islamic Learn Centre is to share knowledge from The Holy Qur’an and Sunnah using classical Islamic texts.

The Islamic textbooks used are translated into English and available to buy at the Croydon ICT Bookshop. The Centre promotes the study and understanding of Islam and provides regular links with scholars of Islam in Muslim countries by means of seminars, telephone conferences and video links.

Each course has an average attendance of 30 students and is a combination of lectures and discussion providing an interactive, engaging and enjoyable environment of learning for students. We hold monthly seminars and intensive courses throughout the summer holidays for young learners and new Muslims.

The Croydon ICT bookshop only stocks authentic books for all age groups, relating to Islamic knowledge and Arabic skills. Our books are sold to the community at discounted prices to allow them to have access to correct Islamic information on a variety of topics at accessible prices.
