Great ways to earn REWARDS!
AsalaamuAlaikum wa Rahmatullah. We are committed to our community, its preservation, growth and maintenance. As a Croydon ICT community member, we need your invaluable support to help us in our Community Projects – these projects will help you to earn REAL REWARDS!
Croydon ICT Dawah Project
Calling people to Allah is a virtuous deed which brings great reward, and we are blessed to be involved in this at Croydon ICT. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in any way. And whoever calls others to misguidance will have a burden of sin like the burden of those who follow him, without that detracting from their burden in any way.”(Narrated by Muslim, 2674)
Our Dawah Project has been running strong for over three years now Alhamdulillah. We have had a lot of support from community members in helping to spread the truth of Islam around the Croydon community, within the shopping district and further afield – you can see the New and Improved Croydon ICT Dawah stall article and pictures HERE >>
I am currently recruiting for volunteers to assist in our project, by being the all important Da’ees, without whom our project cannot continue.
If you can spare at least two Saturdays a month, either morning or evening, and are interested in seeking the great rewards that Allah has promised for this noble effort, please get in touch with me directly by emailing community@croydonict.com.
We will be interviewing candidates and providing some brief training for those who are successful in joining us. If you have no experience but still wish to obtain Dawah skills, you are also welcome to apply for this position.
Preserving Our Masjid
MashaAllah, we have been blessed with a vastly refurbished Masjid and we are working hard to maintain the quality of this for our community. We appreciate the great support that we receive from our regular volunteers and we ask Allah to reward them all, ameen.
We have a small request to ask from all of our community. Please bear in mind that as part of preserving the carpet and cleanliness of the Masjid, we kindly ask that no food or drink should be consumed in the Masjid area (apart from water of course); this should help us to save on future costs, InshaAllah.
SISTERS: We are also requesting any sisters that would like to help maintain the Masjid and earn a great reward with Allah to express their interest to our Admin team on admin@croydonict.com, who can organise a weekly slot for you to gain the excellent rewards reserved for the ones who maintain the Houses of Allah, InshaAllah. Remember that Allah says:
“The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (perfect prayers), and give Zakat (alms) and fear none but Allah. It is they who are on true guidance.“ (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:18)
May Allah bless you all.
