Last 10 Nights of Ramadaan – 2019

Staying in the Masjid (Croydon ICT) During the Last 10 Nights of Ramadaan

Asalaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaah Wa Barkatahu

The masjid will be open during the nights after Taraweeh to fajar for brothers and sisters. Please follow the separate guidelines set out for brothers and sisters.

Brothers:
For security reasons the main front entrance door will be locked half an hour after Taraweeh finishes approx 12.30am. The main entrance door will then reopen for fajar. Brothers wishing to stay in the masjid through the night, must remain in the masjid. If any brother needs to leave he must ensure somebody locks the entrance door behind them.

Sisters:
Due to extra security measures for sisters wishing to stay in the masjid through the night, they must come prepared to remain in the masjid and not leave. The sisters entrance will be locked 30 minutes after Taraweeh and will not be reopened for fajar. Sisters will not be able to open this door. After fajar/sunrise sisters must leave via the front main entrance. This is also the case in the event of an emergency. Sisters who have come with male relatives can arrange to leave with them via the front entrance after fajar. Sisters who are without male relatives cannot leave until sunrise whereby it will be safer for them to return home.

Suhoor will be provided. If brothers and sisters wish to bring their own Suhoor, they are most welcome to do so.
